DCI
Why DCI?
We live in a society where traditional training isn’t enough to fully
obtain the experiences needed to effectively reach the lost. We tend to
not be relational in our approach to ministry, but if we examine our
own lives, we were most likely introduced to Jesus Christ through
relationships. DCI is not about doing another program, but about
aligning ourselves with the heart of God for His people.
You may have heard that ‘different times call for different measures’,
and we couldn’t agree more. As our cities change, we must change. Not
the Message, but the method. “If you always do what you’ve always done,
you’ll always be who you’ve always been.” It’s time for change. It’s
time to go deeper. It’s time for an alternative. It’s time for Plan Be!
Who We Are...
The Dream Center is a network of relationship based community
outreaches focused on meeting the practical and spiritual needs of a
community. The DCI provides an outlet for you to partner with
ministries that are reaching the city for the Kingdom of God, and gain
hands on experience for reaching the lost with the love of Christ.
What We Do...
The DCI is an intense, hands-on experience at knowing God, knowing who
He has called you to be, and making Him known. The components of DCI
include prayer meetings, classroom training, practical ministry
experience, team building, and training in the Word. Your internship
experience will center around inner-city outreaches and urban ministry
combined with 15-25 hours of prayer* each week. This includes worship
team involvement, intercession for city transformation, and personal
study and devotional time. Each day will have emphasis on physical
exercise, prayer and fasting, outreach training and urban ministry,
biblical training, and personal development.
