What Is Dream Center Our History In 1994 the Los Angeles Dream Center was established in an area where crime was rated the second highest in the nation. Ten years later, containing over 200 various outreaches and programs, crime has dropped 73 percent. In addition, each week, 30,000 people are touched through these outreaches of the Dream Center in LA alone. This vision has launched and inspired over 150 Dream Centers across the country, including the Des Moines Dream Center. Our Focus The Dream Center is an organization devoted to serving the city of Des Moines. We are a network of relationship based community outreaches, focused on meeting the practical and spiritual needs of the Greater Des Moines Area.
